Street Closures for Farmer's Market
Robert Thomas
The ever popular downtown Farmer’s Market is once again a go, with temporary street closures approved by City Council on Monday May 14th.
Council approved the street closures on Langdon Crescent to accommodate the Moose Jaw Homegrown Farmers Market.
Langdon Crescent, from Cordova Street to Athabasca Street will be temporarily closed every Saturday from 7 am to 2 pm from May 26 to October 6 and also every Wednesday from 4 pm to 9 pm July 11 to August 29.
The farmer’s market is responsible to erect and properly personnel the barricades as well as promptly remove them following the events. A 10 foot wide lane must also be maintained and available to allow emergency vehicles access if necessary.
They will also be required to clean up any garbage following the event.
