Two Nine Year Olds Sell Lemonade To Help SCRAPS

“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade” (for Cats!).

Paige is only 9 years old but she wanted to make a difference in her community helping homeless Cats and kittens.

Paige knows how difficult some animals lives are as her family have recently become adoptive guardians of 2 SCRAPS littermates “Nimue & Ninja”!

Some animals start off with safe, easy lives while others get lemons. Paige wanted to help and she made lemonade!

Inspired by her amazing grade 4 teacher Mme. Lien at Palliser Heights school, Paige and her classmates were given a challenge…. Find ways to make a difference to HELP your community.

Paige and her friend set out to raise money selling cupcakes and lemonade! Each child could then decide where they would donate the money they raised. Paige chose SCRAPS!

SCRAPS volunteers were recently honoured to accept a donation from Paige and her Mom Crystal who must be so proud of her little girl who is one of the many children from a classroom inspiring change in our community.
