A Day At The Moose Jaw Hometown Fair - Our Biggest Contest Ever
To help kickoff the re-booting of the Moose Jaw Hometown Fair - to be held June 23rd - June 26th - after a two year hiatus the MJ Independent is holding its biggest contest ever.
The prize will consist of FOUR daily tickets to attend the Hometown Fair, FOUR wristbands for same day unlimited rides on West Coast Amusements, a $75 gift certificate to fuel up on great food and drink at a local vendor as well as an added surprise as part of the prize package.
The prize package has a non-cash redeemable value of $300.
With inflation and uncertainty in many people’s lives the prize package is designed to give four people a great day out at the Moose Jaw Hometown Fair.
And now for the legal stuff.
GENERAL RULES
The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.
Sorry only one entry per person. Anyone caught entering more than once using multiple accounts of any sort, or other means, to enter will be disqualified.
Additionally entrants - whether through email or through Facebook - must use an account with their legal name (as on government ID) to enter. Please NO FAKE accounts.
There is no age limit to this contest. The only proviso is the winner - if a minor - must pick up the prize with and be accompanied to the Hometown Fair by a responsible adult.
The responsible adult if such a situation is to occur is fully responsible for supervision of any underage children associated with the prize package.
To be eligible all entrants must live in Moose Jaw or a 35 mile radius of the city of Moose Jaw and be prepared to attend the Hometown Fair.
Getting to and from the Moose Jaw Hometown Fair grounds located at 250 Thatcher Drive East is the responsibility of the prize winner.
The initial draw date is June 16th, 2022.
The contest will consist of a draw of all eligible entries with one potential winner.
The potential winner has one day (24 hours) to contact MJ Independent to acknowledge they are the potential winner. If there is no acknowledgement an additional name will be drawn.
The final declared winner must pick up the tickets and allow MJ Independent to take and publish a picture of themselves without further compensation at that time.
Additionally the winner promises to take a picture of themselves at the Hometown Fair and send it to MJ Independent with a brief description on how the day went at the Hometown Fair.
The prize package may be used on any day of the Moose Jaw Hometown Fair.
Close family members of writers or people connected with MJ Independent or the prize sponsors are NOT eligible to win the prize draw.
A skill testing question - taken from an upcoming article about the Moose Jaw Hometown Fair - must be answered correctly according to Canadian law in order for the final prize winner to be declared.
MJ Independent and the promotion’s sponsors are not responsible for anything, including liability, other than providing the gift certificates.
All prizes consist of gift certificates with the final winner’s name on them and ID must be shown to use them. This rule is discourage re-selling the prize as we would like the winner to attend the Moose Jaw Hometown Fair.
The gift certificates MUST be used during the 2022 edition of the Moose Jaw Hometown Fair June 23rd - 26th inclusive.
The contest may be cancelled at any time without further notice or compensation.
All decisions made by MJ Independent on the awarding of the prize are FINAL.
