Moose Jaw Nature Society Holds Most Fitting AGM Ever

With the restrictions imposed due to the COVID - 19 pandemic the Moose Jaw Nature Society likely held the most fitting AGM in Moose Jaw due to it.

The group dedicated to the learning about and protecting Mother Nature and the great outdoors held their 2020 AGM outside adjacent the bird feeders in Moose Jaw’s outdoor jewel the Wakamow Valley. A serene fall meeting spot. Social distancing and making the best of the new realities during the age of COVID - 19.

According to the group it is never a bad decision to spend time with nature, and a better venue could not have been chosen for the AGM.

The Moose Jaw Nature Society would like to thank Rich Pickering and everyone who came out.

Instead of their regular indoor educational programs this year the group has, like Nature, adapted to the new reality around them and will be holding outdoor nature programs in place of their regular speakers.

Among those who dropped in to attend the AGM were squirrels, vultures, chickadees and nuthatches giving the meeting a true outdoor flair.

Come back later as we will be featuring a full report of the AGM and what the group is doing as well as planning for the upcoming year.
