Cyclones Red Win Junior Boys City Championship

The Central Cyclones Red team defeated the Peacock Toilers Green team on Wednesday evening 95 - 41 to capture the junior boys Moose Jaw city league championship.
Played before a large crowd the game saw its fair share of battling fire the basketball with Toilers Green outsized and outmuscled by Cyclones Red.
The First Quarter saw Cyclones Red with a 22 - 10 lead of Toilers Green.
The Second Quarter was mostly all Cyclones Red until the last few minutes when the Toilers Green team managed to score a quick five points for an instant threatening momentum behind Peacock.
The Toilers Green points came off a long three pointer by Roque Spaan Murray followed up two seconds later by a magnificent steal and basket by Josh Stevens.
The score at Halftime was Cyclones Red 50 and Peacock Green 23.
The Third Quarter saw Cyclones Red with a 74 - 35 lead.
The Final Score was Cyclones Red 95 and Peacock Green 41.
