Numerous Charges Laid After Warrant Executed

On February 13, 2025, the Moose Jaw Police Service executed a warrant at a residence within the Lakeview Trailer Court for the arrest of Frederick Hafner on outstanding warrants.
Hafner was wanted for:
Assault x2
Uttering Threats
Pointing a Firearm
Careless Use of a Firearm
Possession of a Firearm without Authorization
Possession of a Firearm knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x2
Failure to Comply with Probation Order x3
Forcible Confinement.
With the help of the Crisis Negotiating, Tactical Response capabilities, and other MJPS units, Hafner and two other individuals exited the residence and were arrested without incident.
There were no injuries as a result of the warrant execution.
Hafner made his first appearance in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on February 14, 2025, and had been remanded to the Regina Correctional Centre.
The other two individuals were released from police custody with no charges.
