Police Release Details About Death

On May 22, 2024, at approximately 4:30 a.m. Officers responded to what was initially thought to be a minor incident of an abandoned vehicle on the 9th Avenue Bridge.

Following a search of the area, Officers discovered an adult male on the ground beneath the bridge. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The MJPS continues to investigate the incident in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

At this point in the investigation, foul play is not suspected.
