Premier Prairie Classic Set To Tip Off
Hockey may have the lion’s share of attention in Moose Jaw right now but this weekend the city will move from the rink to the court as basketball takes center stage.
The annual Premier Prairie Classic tips off this Friday afternoon at 4 pm and ends with finals at 8 pm on Sunday evening.
THE FINAL POOL DRAWS
The tournament will feature 79 teams competing in age categories from U11 to HS open boys and girls.
It is one of the largest basketball tournaments in the province and put on by the Spartans Basketball Club.
The Prairie Classic will take place on six courts at five schools - Peacock, Central, Riverview, Sunningdale and Palliser.
Teams will be coming from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
