Brandt Releases Statement On Tragic Accident

The company where a 26 year old worker was killed in an industrial accident on Wednesday has released a statement providing more details of the tragic accident.

The company said it was providing grief counselling to assist employees in dealing with the tragedy.

"Brandt has extended its deepest condolences to the worker’s family and is co-ordinating grief counsellors to aid employees in this especially difficult time.”

Brandt’s release went on to state the exact cause of the accident has yet to be determined and the company as well as the government were in the process of determining the exact cause.

“The exact cause of the incident is unknown at this time and the incident is under investigation by both Brandt and Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety,” the release stated.

The identity of the 26 year old worker killed in the accident has yet to be released and Brandt stated out of respect for the employee’s family no other comments would be made.
