Another Road Closure To Allow For Re-Paving

Another roadway is going to be closed to traffic for a few days to allow for the surface to be re-paved.

Starting today Highland Road (located north of Thatcher Drive East in the Grayson Business Park) will be repaved in two separate stages.

Starting today paving operations will commence on the south portion of Highland Drive from Thatcher Drive East to just north of McKenzie Lane.

All businesses will remain OPEN. Access will be available via McKenzie Lane and Highland Road via Diefenbaker Drive.

Once the south portion is paved repaving operations will commence August 10th on the north portion of Highland Drive will be paved. Paving will be from the area south of Haultain Dr. and the Highway 1 approach at Diefenbaker Drive.

The exit to Highland Road from Highway 1 will be closed during construction.

Between August 10-14, access to the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital can be gained by utilizing Diefenbaker Drive via Main Street North

The City requests all motorists to follow all signs and drive with caution in the area.
