On-Line Camping Registration Opens Tomorrow

If you are planning on seasonal camping at a Saskatchewan provincial park this summer then you had better be prepared to go on-line and book starting tomorrow. The on-line reservation for seasonal bookings opens April 2nd at 7 am.

“After a long winter, many campers are eagerly anticipating those warm days on the beach and evenings around the campfire with family and friends,” Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Gene Makowsky is quoted saying in a news release statement, adding “We are looking forward to welcoming many new and returning visitors to our beautiful parks this summer for another great camping season.”

For the first time, seasonal campsites will be booked on the new online reservation system.  Due to high demand for these sites, a queuing system will be used to ensure a fair process.

In order to be prepared for the on-line booking campers are required to create a new account. Campers are also encouraged to to go on-line prior to the booking itself and become familiar with the entire process. The on-line link is available at https://saskparks.goingtocamp.com, all campers need to create a new account.

Additionally campers need to know that on the day of the booking there is a queue set up from 6:40 am to 7 am where all those logged in will receive a randomly generated place in line. Those logging on after 7 am will be assigned a place at the end of the line.
