Election Day - Meet The Candidates
To help our readers make an informed choice in the federal election on Monday 0ctober 21st the MJ Independent conducted lengthy interviews with the five candidates vying for your vote in the election.
The interviews asked the candidates similar questions although we varied the questions based upon the candidate to get a better view of issues which effected each candidate differently.
We asked about issues such as Crystal Methamphetamine which is impacting Moose Jaw at a growing rate but never made it to the rank of local mainstream - or other - media election coverage.
Additionally we asked our readers what issues were important to them and then asked all five candidates the questions you wanted asked.
The interviews were split between Nick Murray and Robert Thomas who worked individually on the stories.
In keeping with MJ Independent’s philosophy we declined any and all paid advertising from political and third parties so as to avoid any accusations our coverage was paid for.
