Administrative Review Officer Presents Annual Report
It was a bit of a busy year for the City's Administrative Review Officer David Foley presented the 2018 annual report as he handled two referrals for review to his office.
The first review involved Peanut Hill Campground and the installation of a three inch water meter. The case was resolved in the initial consultation.
The second case involved an extensive review of documents surrounding the bills assessed for service connections for Phase One if Cast Iron Water Main Replacement. Service connections are the sewer and water pipes running from a building to the main lines.
In the end Foley agreed with the City's side but recommended the seven homeowners who sought the review receive a ten percent discount which Council ultimately rejected.
“I know when I have work to get out of bed (and go to work) I am truly excited,” Foley told Council.
