Toilers Take Gold At Local Tourney

The Peacock Toilers senior boys team won the gold medal in the Helping Hoops Basketball Tournament held Friday and Saturday.

The Toilers opened up the tournament on Friday afternoon defeating Regina Johnson 78 - 66.

On Saturday morning the Toilers defeated Saskatoon’s Evan Hardy 75 - 69.

And on Saturday evening the Toilers defeated Yorkton Raiders 78 - 65 in what was at times a very physical game.
