U15 Saskatchewan Rush End Day One With A 1 - 2 Record
OAKVILLE, Ontario - It was good news to start the Junior National Lacrosse League Tournament in Oakville, Ontario for the U15 Saskatchewan Rush Junior team as they dominated their opening game.
But as the day wore on the Rush Junior squad - who have five players hailing from Moose Jaw and area - found themselves up against some very tough competition.
The U15 Saskatchewan Rush team has five players - Jaxyn Houle, Joseph Jackson, Brett Bowerin, Bentley Messner and Cash Bellefeuille - hailing from Moose Jaw.
The U15 Saskatchewan Rush found themselves with a 1 - 2 record at the end of day one.
GAME ONE U15 Saskatchewan Rush - 7 Halifax Thunderbirds 1
Saskatchewan had a very easy time against Halifax in their opening game on Friday morning. The Rush disposed of the Thunderbirds 7 - 1.
Moose Jaw’s Bentley Messner scored two unassisted goals.
Brett Bowerin from Moose Jaw added a goal to round out scoring from local players.

GAME TWO - Saskatchewan Rush - 1 Junior Mammoth 12
The U15 Saskatchewan Rush Junior team ran into a prehistoric wall and found themselves in a tough place as they lost 12 - 1.
There was no scoring nor assists by any Moose Jaw and area players in this game.

GAME THREE - Saskatchewan Rush - 3 U15 Junior Rock 14
The third and final game for the Saskatchewan Rush Juniors was a tough game against the Junior Rock team.
Although the Junior Rock team dominated the scoreboard the Rush players were able to get 28 shots on goal versus 45 by Junior Rock.
Moose Jaw’s Joseph Jackson scored two unassisted goals for the Rush.
Brett Bowerin from Moose Jaw scored a goal for the Rush assisted by Van McDonald.
