Cyclones Defeat Toilers
It started out slow for the Central Cyclones Red junior boys team but once they got their game in gear they wracked up a strong first half lead.
But in the second half the Cyclones saw themselves outscored by a rejuvenated Peacock Toilers junior boys team.
It wasn’t enough for a win or even made the score close but for the Toilers it was a sign they could go toe to toe with the Moose Jaw city league’s top junior boys team.
The final score was Central Cyclones Red (A team) 89 and the Peacock Toilers 58.
The score after the First Quarter was Central 23 - Peacock 6.
The score at Halftime was Central 51 and Peacock 16.
The Third Quarter saw the Toilers outscore the Cyclones 18 to 17.
The score at the end of the third quarter was Central 68 and Peacock 33.
The Fourth Quarter once again saw the Toilers outscore the Cyclones 24 - 21.
The Final Score was Cyclones 89 to Toilers 58.
