Family Day Tournament Tips Off
The Moose Jaw Filipino Association’s annual Family Day Tournament kicked off on Friday afternoon at Vanier Collegiate.
The tournament features 10 teams in various age groups and starts up at 7 am on Saturday.
The annual tournament started as a way for Filipinos who were living in Moose Jaw with no family here to get together as a community with the event centering around basketball- the Philippines national sport.
There will be seven food vendors selling a variety of authentic traditional Philippine cuisine.
Admission is FREE and everyone is welcome.
