Spirits Down Rockets

Rockets are suppose to blast off but unfortunately for the Assiniboia Rockets senior girls basketball team the Vanier Spirits managed to shoot them down practically as they left the launch pad.

The Spirits defeated the visiting Rockets 88 - 26 on Tuesday evening.

The First Quarter score saw the Spirits take 26 - 4 lead with grade ten student Maddi Cruz leading the way with six points.

The Halftime Score saw the Spirits leading the Rockets 53 - 17.

The score after the Third Quarter was Vanier 72 and Assiniboia 22.

The Final Score was Vanier 88 and Assiniboia 26.
