Vikings Hold Off Cyclones

The game was a hotly contested with the Vanier Vikings running the Central Cyclones Gold junior boys team out of time on route to a 70 - 61 victory in junior boys high school basketball city league action.

The score at the end of the First Quarter was Vanier 19 and Central Gold 14.

The score at Half Time was Vanier 34 and Central Gold 24.

In the Third Quarter Vanier expanded their lead temporarily but the score at the end of the quarter was 52 - 44

The Fourth Quarter saw the Cyclones fall behind by 13 point but they manage to find their way back and on two occasions, trail by six points.

The final score was Vanier 70 and Central Gold 61 45.
