Moose Jaw Teams Doing Well In Weekend Lacrosse Tournament

It was a good weekend for Moose Jaw lacrosse teams as they were in Calgary for the Calgary Roughnecks Canada Day weekend tournament.

All teams enter the final day of competition at the top or in second place in their respective divisions.

U11B

In U11 B competition the Moose Jaw Mustangs are second with a three wins, and one tie record.

The four game record earned the Mustangs 16.5 points coming in behind their namesake Chilliwack Mustangs who recorded a purrfect four wins and zero losses record.

U13B

In U13 B division play the Moose Jaw Mustangs are tied for first place with the Denver Elite Blue team.

Both Moose Jaw and Denver have identical tournament records of four wins and zero losses heading into Monday play. Each team had 19.5 points.

There were nine teams competing in this category.

U15 B

The U15 B Moose Jaw Mustangs are in first in their divisional play with a perfect for wins and zero losses record.

The Mustangs earned 20 points beating their next closest rival the West Kootenay Wolfpack who had a three wins and one tie record heading into the final day of competition.

U17 B

In U17 B play the Moose Jaw Mustangs squad are in first place with a perfect four wins and zero losses record.

Although they had the same record as the Prince George Posse the Moose Jaw team is in first with 20 points versus Prince George’s 18.5 points.
