City High School Junior Badminton Sees A Central Wave

The city high school badminton junior championships were held on Wednesday afternoon and the podium more often the night was decked with Central Collegiate gold and red.

Central athletes managed to capture nine out of the 15 medals available.

District Playdowns This Saturday

With the city championships now over play moves onto the district finals to be held this Saturday at Peacock Collegiate.

Play starts at 9 AM and this year will feature the Bantam (grade nine) as well as Senior (grades 10 - 12) at a single event.

Admission to the event is $3 for adults - $2 for students - with all funds being used to help fund league expenses.
