Senior Basketball Playoffs Tip Off On Tuesday
By Robert Thomas
Senior Girls
The playoffs start on Tuedsay with fourth seed Central Cyclones taking on fifth seed Assiniboia Rockets.
Central Cyclones (3 wins and 5 losses) VS Assiniboia Rockets (0 wins and 8 losses)
Central Collegiate Tuesday March 7th at 5:50 pm.
The fourth place Cyclones have had an on again and off again year.
The (3 - 5) record is not reflective of the team's talent and the Cyclones have on ocassion shown brilliance on the court only to come out flat in the following game.
Most expected the Cyclones to finish the regular season in third place in a battle with the Lumsden Angels.

Talent wise and coaching wise the Cyclones should be able to advance in this game.
Over confidence and a hungry winnless Assiniboia team coming to play has the outside chance of an upset entirely possible.
Semi - Finals
The senior girls semi-finals games will both be played on Thursday, March 9th.
FIRST SEMI -FINAL
Lumsden Angels VS Vanier Spirits
Thursday March 9th 6:20 pm at Vanier Collegiate
The second seed Vanier Spirits have have a season record only tarnished by the Peacock Toilers being a fraction or really just a step better.
At the Moose Jaw Invitational Senior Girls Tournament the Spirits kept coming back in a hotly contested fifth and sixth place final with the Toilers needing two overtimes to finally win.
SECOND SEMI FINAL
Winner of Central Cyclones VS Assiniboia Rockets matchup VS Peacock Toilers
Thursday March 9th 6:20 pm at Peacock Collegiate
The Toilers have seen great success just one step ahead of the Spirits and as such earned the six wins and two losses record.
Senior Boys
SEMI-FINAL Vanier Vikings VS Peacock Toilers
Thursday March 9th 8 pm at Peacock Collegiate
The hard-core rivalry comes alive as the Vikings row into Toilers country hoping for that one elusive win this season.
The 0 wins and 6 losses Vikings have played a hard physical step of play against the Toilers.
The 4 wins 2 losses Toilers may have a hard go of it against Vanier in the game's early going.
