In what could be described as a sustained artillery barrage of layups the undefeated Central Cyclones Red team defeated the Vanier Vikings Red team 124 - 34 in high school junior boys semi final playoff action.
The Cyclone's Chase Seaborn opened up with an early three pointer followed by a volley of five fast rushing layups.
Vanier would not respond with baskets until much later in the First Quarter.
The powerhouse Cyclones team - who have won all of their games in the regular season by no less than a 65 point margin - were highly favored to win.
Despite facing what is a seemingly unstoppable team the Vikings played hard right up until the final buzzer.
Quarter Scores:
The First Quarter saw the Cyclones use a series of well practiced plays to start the game scoring fast and furious.
The score at the end of the First Quarter was Central 45 and Vanier 4.
Central's scoring rate decreased in the Second Quarter as head coach Barry Seaborn gave playing time to the team's bench.
At the same time Vanier settled down and were a more even match against the Cyclones.
The score at Half Time was Central 65 and Vanier 15.
The Third Quarter score was Central 98 and Vanier 27.
The Final Score at the buzzer was Central 124 and Vanier 34.
