Peacock Jr Girls Defeat Central In Must Win Game
Photos and Story by Robert Thomas
It was a must win game for the Peacock Toilers junior girls basketball team.
A win would mean a tie with the Central Cyclones - in combined junior girls\JV regular season play.
A loss would put the Cyclones two games ahead of the Toilers in regular season junior girls\JV girls league action with each team with only one game left.
A Peacock loss on Tuesday evening would have meant Central would finish the regular season in first place.
For the fans the game was not a let down as both teams battled it out but in the end Peacock won 45 - 31.
