Illness and injury may have hit high school senior basketball schedule hard on Tuesday evening.
What was seen as the premiere matchup of the week - the Peacock Toilers versus the Central Cyclones in senior boys action - was cancelled due to illness and injury.
But while illness hit other teams hard it did not stop the Central Cyclones versus the Vanier Spirits from hitting the hardwood in Moose Jaw high school senior girls play on Tuesday evening.
In what at one time was a three point game saw the second place Spirits outshine the fourth place Cyclones in a 76 - 48 victory.
