Local Speed Skaters Off To National And International Events
Submitted by the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Speed Skating Club
The Moose Jaw Kinsmen Speed Skating Club is proud to have two skaters who have qualified for the Neo-Jr Short Track Championships this coming weekend.
This is a national competition where each province is allowed a certain number of spots to send their strongest skaters.
Saskatchewan is sending 2 female and 2 male skaters.
Marcus Capili and Elizabeth Rea have been selected to attend.
The competition is in Calgary.

We also have a skater competing at the International level at World Cups 1-4 this fall. World Cup 1 is November 10-12 in Obihiro, Japan.
Graeme Fish will be skating the 5000m at this event.
