Provincial Tournament Underway

It was a one-one split after the first matches in the Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association’s (SHSAA) 4A senior girls provincial volleyball championships.

Hosted by Vanier Collegiate the event sees the top 10 4A senior girls teams from across the province.

In their opening match against the Vanier Spirits defeated the Melville Cobras 25 - 8 and 25 - 14.

It was not such a great start for the Central Cyclones as they fell 2 - 0 with set scores of 19 - 25 and 14 - 25 against the Nipawin Bears.
