Rockets Sputter Just Short Of Orbit

It was time for the senior boys to adopt the late night 8 pm start as the Peacock Titans took on the Avonlea Rockets on Tuesday night.

Avonlea used power and scored some big points on major spikes carrying vapour trails.

Unfortunately for the Rockets more than a few spike attempts ended either out of bounds or Avonlea garnering net infractions.

It cost the Rockets massively stop them just short of entering orbit instead they fell short and ended in a splashdown.

In the end the Peacock Titans powered by the Avonlea Rockets 3 - 0 in sets to win the match,

The set scores were Peacock 25 - 15, 26 - 24 and 26 - 24.
