It was a big start of the season for the Kinsmen Moose Jaw Speed skating club

We had our first short track meet of the year in Warman this past weekend.
Seven of our local skaters competed achieving several personal best times and bringing home some hardware as well.
Kohl Olson, Marcus Capili, Boston Olmstead, Scarlett Zeorb, Elizabeth Rea, Amelia Gartner and Kainen McKee attended the meet which hosted over 100 skaters from across the province.

Our main focus for our skaters is their personal best times when racing.
Self improvement promotes a healthy approach to competition.

List Of Personal Bests
Marcus Capili came back with two personal bests.
Kohl Olson with three personal bests.
Elizabeth Rea had a total of six personal bests.
Kainen McKee won gold in Group 4 Men’s Division

Boston Olmstead received two personal bests!!!
Our skaters also came back with some medals and an award.
Boston Olmstead (center ) won gold in Group 7 Men’s Division.

It was a strong start to our season for all the skaters. Congrats to all.
Our next meet is November 4th - 5th in Regina.
