Cyclones Headed To League Final
It’s another year and another opportunity for the Central Cyclones to hoist the trophy for the South 12-aside South League as they defeated the Yorkton Raiders 28 - 14 on the weekend.
In a second low scoring game for the powerhouse Raiders against the Cyclones the Cyclones defence came up big.
The score after the First Quarter was Yorkton 1 and Moose Jaw 0.
The score at half time was 8 - 6 for Yorkton.
The Third Quarter score was 8 - 7.
In the Fourth Quarter the Cyclones took control with 11:16 left in the game when Javin Boynton ran it in for a touchdown to make the score 13 - 8.
An attempt for a two point conversion was unsuccessful.
Keaton Belsher and Brodie Ansell would add touchdowns as Central are headed against Weyburn who defeated the Peacock Tornadoes.
