Final Hunter Jumper Show Starts Friday

The final instalment of this year’s local Hunter Jumper series starts this Friday.

The three day show runs from Friday October 20 to Sunday October 22 at the Golden Mile Arena located on the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds 250 Thatcher Drive East.

This is a FREE event to come out and watch.

The show gets underway at 9:00 am each day.

As of publication time there were 48 entries received. Entrants are from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

The series - now in its second season - has seen growth in the number of horses and riders competing as the series finds its sweet spot in the sport.

There are many new names now participating in the series.

Riders compete for points over the course of the four show series with riders needing to participate in two of the three shows in order to qualify for the series championship.

For those who are interested the concession - which has received rave reviews for its locally sourced beef in homemade hamburgers as well as wraps and freshly hand cut French fries - will be open.
