Results From The Holy Trinity Annual Invitational Volleyball Tournament

It was a busy couple of days on the volleyball court as Holy Trinity hosted their annual Invitational Tournament with 18 teams (9 boys and 9 girls) battling for top spot.

Games were held at St. Margaret and St. Michael schools on Friday night before converging on Vanier Collegiate on Saturday.

Teams played in a preliminary pool of three and then based on those results were re-pooled into playoff pools.

In the end the Sunningdale Grizzlies captured gold in the boy's event while the St. Michael Knights White took home the hardware in the girl's event.

Final results were as follows:

BOYS

Championship: Sunningdale, Sacred Heart, St. Michael

Consolation: St. Margaret, St. Agnes, Cornerstone

Challenger: St. Mary, ASCS 2, ASCS 1

GIRLS

Championship: St. Michael White, Caronport, Sacred Heart

Consolation: St. Mary, St. Agnes, St. Margaret

Challenger: Cornerstone, ASCS, St. Michael Blue
