Mike Mintenko Summerfest Underway

More than 200 swimmers from all over Western Canada have descended on the Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool this weekend as the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Flying Fins are hosting the 54th annual Mike Mintenko Summerfest.

Competition is high calibre and the weather was outdoor perfect in what is one of the less than a handful 50 metre outdoor pool competitions remaining Canada-wide.

Competition got underway at 10 am this morning with Sunday’s competition starting at 9 am and wrapping up in the early afternoon.
