Flyers Come From Behind To Clinch Series

It was a hard fought game but in the end the Milestone U18A Female Flyers managed to pull off a 2 - 1 victory against the Wood River Ice Cats this past Thursday evening.

The win advances the Flyers to the second round of playoff action after defeating the Ice Cats 2 - 0 in a best of three games series.

The Ice Cats were first to score at the 18:02 mark of the Second Period when Ava Sayers scored assisted by Rilynn Chandler.

The Third Period saw the Flyers rally behind their Hanson Brothers duo to pull off the victory.

Ember DuSomme tied up the game at the 14:19 mark assisted by Sydney Ellingson.

The pair teamed up with just 16 seconds left in the period to prevent overtime and win the series.
