Mosaic Place was filled to the brim and ready to take in the final battle between the Moose Jaw Warriors and the Swift Current Broncos.

Moose Jaw opened up with a duet of action. Brody Willms was there to make the key saves early. The Warriors were playing to win Monday night. Goaltender Brody Willms was on his game with huge saves. Moose Jaw kept on the Swift Current defence with their heavy forecheck. Swift Current eventually turned the pace on the Warriors, with an attack of their own. The Broncos managed to beat Willms with a point shot by Colby Sissons at 12:45.

The playoff intensity continued as the physical play began to pick up. The Warriors puck pursuit in the Broncos zone was evident as they cycled the puck but weren't able to find the net with shots. Swift Current's defence shut the shooting lanes down stymying any Warrior shot attempts. The back and forth battle continued with each team not giving up any ice to the other. With 35 seconds left in the period, Glenn Gawdin beat Willms with a shot in close to give the Broncos a 2-0 lead. Shots after 1 were 13-9 in favour of Swift Current.

The second period began with the Broncos on the forecheck. Less than 4 minutes into the period, Tyler Steenbergen sniped a shot, top corner, past Willms for the 3-0 lead. Swift Current carried much of the momentum in the second frame. The Warriors were out-skated for a good portion of the first half of the period. Again, shots towards the net were few and far between. Swift Current dropped back into their 4 man trap in the neutral zone, playing comfortably with the lead. The Broncos found the back of the net again at 4:40 to take the 4-0 lead with another goal by Glenn Gawdin. Shots after 2 were 24-18.

The third period started with the Warriors pressing. The Warriors did all they could to find the net with shots but Skinner was there to stop the puck when called upon. Swift Current found the back of the net for the 5th then 6th time to put the game out of reach at 6:19. The Warriors were given a power play with just under 6 minutes left in the period. The power play wasn't able to find the net. Shots to end the game were 37-22 in favour of Swift Current
