Warriors Humiliate Red Deer Rebels in Front of Their Fans.

The Moose Jaw Warriors gone done it again. This time it was the Red Deer Rebels on the receiving end of an embarrassing beat down in front of their home fans.

The Warriors spent most of the evening around the Rebels net.

Red Deer might have scored 3 times, but that had more to do with Brodie Willms sleeping in net than anything else. I mean, the kid was bored, he only faced 21 shots over sixty minutes. It can get pretty darn painful down at the lonesome end of the rink.

The final score was 6-3 and the Warriors outshot Red Deer by 48 shots. The game was over almost as soon as the puck hit the ice. The powers that be felt so bad for Rebel goalie, Riley Lamb, that, after the bludgeoning he received, they gave him the first star anyway.

How many goalies get first star in spite of letting in six goals?

Red Deer goalie, Riley Lamb, faced a lot of shots; 69, to be exact.

Brayden Burke had two goals and an assist to add to his tally as the league leader in points. Justin Almeida was sharp again, with three assists and Ryan Peckford also had two. Plus Barrett Sheen spent a bunch of time in the penalty box again.

Just another day at the office for the Warriors, who are now ranked second in the entire country, behind only the Greyhounds of Sault Ste. Marie.

Their next game is Friday night in Calgary.
