Friday Night Stop Check

The Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) were busy with a vehicle stop check late Friday evening on the 1100 block of Main Street North.

It is unknown how many driving infractions were recorded as part of the random stop but at least one 4 x 4 truck was towed away from the check for unknown reasons.

There were four MJPS officers involved in stopping vehicles at random where drivers were asked to produce their driver’s license and vehicle registration.

Editor’s Note - MJ Independent did not publish this story until at least an hour after the vehicle stop check ended.

It is unknown if they moved to a different location to continue with the operation.
