REAL Board Ousts Boss

It’s a saga that has gone on since an ill-fated sexual innuendo tourism promo hit a greasy wall and it has now claimed a big fish.

The Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) interim board has unanimously decided to remove Tim Reid as President and Chief Economic Officer (PECO).

“This leadership change is the next step in the formal review of the organization, which will focus on financial sustainability, organizational structure, operations, governance, and strategic mandate,” a release announcing the change stated.

The interim board is preparing a review of REAL’s operations and how the organization is not only off message but millions of dollars in growing debt.

Roberta Engel, current Vice-President, Corporate Services, has been appointed as acting PCEO.
