Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charges Against Two

The Moose Jaw Police Service have charged two individuals with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
On Sept. 6 at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop that involved a 22-year-old female and a 41-year-old male.
Further investigation, led to the discovery of various amounts of Cocaine, Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and OxyContin.
As a result, both the male and female have been charged with Possession of those controlled substances for the Purpose of Trafficking.
The 22-year-old female has been held in Police custody and will appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Thursday (Sept. 7).

Due to these charges and several outstanding warrants, the 22-year-old female was held in police custody.
The 41-year-old male was released from Police custody on conditions and will make a future court appearance.
The Moose Jaw Police Service will provide an update at a later date.
