Man Wanted For Attempted Murder Arrested

A man wanted on attempted murder charges in connection with a violent home invasion on Wednesday September 17th is in police custody.

The Moose Jaw Police Service located Gill Ryan Perreault at an East side residence where he was safely taken into custody.

Perreault was wanted for attempted murder and breaking and entering.

It is alleged the 29 year old Perreault and his accomplice 28 year old Joshua Bradley Adams staged a violent home invasion where a 28 year old male was shot in the head.

The victim was transported by EMS with what are described as serious but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident.

During their investigation the Police seized fentanyl with a street value of approximately $400,000 and over $6,000 in cash.

No charges have been laid in connection yet in connection with the drugs and cash.

Adams was captured at the scene while Perreault managed to allude police by running away through the neighbourhood.

Adams was charged with one count of Breaking and Entering, one count of Attempted Murder, one count of Possessing a firearm while prohibited, and one count of Possessing a fiream without a valid license or registration.

Adams has already appeared in court and has an upcoming bail hearing.

Perreault is set to appear in court on Monday morning.
