Moose Jaw Police Service take four people in the custody after drugs and firearms found

Four people are in custody following an incident involving firearms and drugs that occured in Moose Jaw.

At approximately 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) took several people into custody in the course of an investigation.

Shortly after 9:00 p.m., police personnel actioned a search warrant at a house on the 1100 Block of 4th Avenue Northeast. Members of the Tactical Response Team and the Criminal Investigation Division secured the location and conducted a search.

During this investigation, two assault-style firearms, drugs, cash, and stolen property were located, and four people were taken into custody.

The investigation is continuing and further updates will be provided.

The MJPS’s did not release the names of the accused and the date(s) when they will be appearing in court.
