Coteau Street Bridge Closed To Vehicle Traffic

The bridge that saw an entire neighbourhood come out to save it when demolition was threatened has now been closed to vehicle traffic.
The Coteau Street East bridge located at the 100 block of Coteau Street East has now been closed to vehicle traffic as a result of bridge structure assessments conducted on behalf of the City of Moose Jaw.
“Evaluations of the 110 year-old structure, completed this year, have revealed that bridge conditions have significantly deteriorated to the point that they now pose an unacceptable risk to vehicular traffic,” the City said in a statement.
