City Requests Residents Help
The City of Moose Jaw is asking for the public help when it comes to cleaning up the remaining debris from the heavy October snow storm that damaged thousands of City owned trees.
Although the bulk of the cleanup is complete the City has asked residents to pitch in picking up small twigs and branches on boulevards and if able disposing of them in their trash bins.
““We would like to thank the community for their ongoing assistance with spring clean-up activities across the City,” Cory Oakes, Parks and Recreation Operations Manager said in a statement.

If the objects are too large or still affixed to a boulevard tree and require heavy equipment, City staff are available to address those requests and will be prioritizing clean-up activities based on potential risks to people and property, the City said in a release.
The City is also prioritizing residential needs ahead of parks and open spaces.
