Another Downtown Stabbing This Time With A Syringe

Alleged perpetrator stabbed a random customer with a syringe inside a store

The Moose Jaw Police Sevice has charged 29-year-old Brandon Bluecloud with Assault with a Weapon after an attack took place within Moose Jaw’s downtown core on October 3, 2023

At approximately 9:11 a.m. Police responded to a report of a Suspicious Occurence at a business.

Once on the scene, Police learned that Bluecloud had approached a customer within the business from behind, stabbed them multiple times in the lower back region with a pointy object, and then fled the scene.

With the help of the business’s secuity camera, which was obtained following the incident, Police were able to confim that the weapon in question was a syinge and Bluecloud was holding it.

Bluecloud and the victim are unknown to one another and the attack appears to be random.

Officers were able to locate and arrest Bluecloud without incident, a short time after the attack.

He made his first appearance in Moose Jaw Provincial Cout on Wednesday, October 4, and has since been remanded into Police custody.
