City Opens On-Line Survey For Budget Input
If you want to have your say in how the City spends your tax dollars there are two opportunities from the City of Moose Jaw to do so.
During the 2023 Budget deliberations a person, if they so chose may make arrangements to appear in person and address Council, or you have the opportunity to participate in an on-line survey.
As an annual part of the budget process the City runs an on-line survey as residents what their priorities are and how do they feel about how and where their tax dollars are spent.
“In just a few months City Council will deliberate and determine the 2023 Operating and Capital Budgets, and we look forward to providing feedback regarding the priorities of Moose Jaw taxpayers,” Jim Puffalt, City Manager said in a release.
The 2023 Budget and City Services survey features 22 questions, and asks residents their feelings on City spending priorities, their feelings about the biggest issues facing Moose Jaw as a city and seeks input on how to fund a new outdoor pool.
The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will be open until Sunday, October 2 at 11:59 p.m. To take the survey, click here.
Residents can also access the survey with the link on the free City of Moose Jaw app and the City’s website, www.MooseJaw.ca .
