SGI Warns Of Scam And Says Don't Click That Link

With the good news that SGI will be providing $100 rebates to all customers later this Spring there are now scammers out there and ready to take advantage of the unwary.

SGI has issued a warning about a scam trying to play upon vehicle owners wanting to apply for the rebate that you do not have to. Any links out there asking people to click and apply for rebates can be described by one word - SCAM.

If you receive the text, don’t click that link! While $100 rebates are being issued to vehicle owners later this spring, customers do not have to apply for them. Anyone who is eligible will be mailed a cheque, as long as their mailing address is up-to-date, SGI advised in a statement
