Travel In Moose Jaw Region Not Advised

According to the Highways Hotline travel is not recommended at this time as freezing rain this afternoon has turned to ice.
Travelers this afternoon between Regina and Moose Jaw report it was difficult to keep their windshields ice free this afternoon.
All state they expect the road conditions to turn bad once the temperatures drop below freezing.
There were Department of Highways units out sanding this afternoon on the Belle Plaine overpass.
Travel within Moose Jaw is also slick due to icy streets reduce speeds to match road conditions.
