50/50 Prize Gets Big Boost From Unclaimed Prize
Someone not realizing they were the lucky winner of the Moose Jaw Warriors Booster Club’s 50/50 draw in January 2020 could turn into your lucky day if you buy a raffle ticket.
The latest, and sixth edition, of the Moose Jaw Co-op 50/50 raffle has been pre-seeded with $6,065 from an unclaimed winning 50/50 ticket from the January 17th, 2020 Moose Jaw Warriors game.
As of 1:30 pm April 13th the estimated jackpot had reached $7,275 with the winner taking half. The prize is still growing as more tickets are purchased.
The Moose Jaw Warriors usually sell their 50/50 raffle tickets at their home games but with the pandemic the provincial gaming commission has allowed them to move the popular raffle on-line. The raffle tickets must be purchased from in Saskatchewan only.
The 50/50 raffle is one of the activities put on by the Warriors Booster Club to raise funds for the Education Fund for players to pursue an education.
This week’s draw runs from April 12 - April 19 inclusive. The deadline to purchase tickets is 9 am on April 19th.
