Prairie Bee Meadery To Be Featured On TV

Local business owner Crystal Milburn will be featured this Wednesday on Episode Four of City TV’s Flat Out Food docuseries.

The episode will focus on honey and Milburn will talk about mead’s history, which dates back to ancient Egyptian times and weaves it into modern-day Saskatchewan.

Milburn will share her family’s history ion making mead and also give insights in being an entrepreneur in the Saskatchewan food industry.

The episode will air this Wednesday evening at 10 pm on CityTV Wednesday, March 17th at 10:00 p.m. CST and then repeats on Saturday, March 20th at 10:30 p.m. CST.

The multi-part “Flat Out Food” docuseries chronicles Saskatchewan-grown ingredients journet from field to the plate with the help of host Jenn Sharp and some of the province's top culinary minds.
