Webinar Series To Help Organizations And Businesses Weather 2021
There is an old saying and that is you should take a bull by the horns to get things done and that is what a consortium of groups is set to do when it comes to the social impact of COVID - 19.
Community Futures Southwest, Swift Current & District Chamber of Commerce and United Way Regina have officially launch the Community. Commerce. United (CCU) Webinar series.
The series is dedicated to providing valuable information to assist local organizations and businesses important to social fabric of communities weather the continued storm of the COVID - 19 pandemic in 2021.
Recently the United Way of Regina announced a fundraising drive to raise funds to help local agencies provide their vital services by directing funds, as they became available, to the areas which need the most help. The priorities will be determined by the Moose Jaw COVID Community Response Committee. All funds raised in Moose Jaw stay in Moose Jaw.
The Moose Jaw initiative originated as a result of the effort which began in Swift Current.
“We believe no local organization should be left behind in 2021 due to limited resources. We have local expertise that will provide our community with cost-effective knowledge and tools to navigate 2021. We believe information sharing is a vital component in order to be #inthistogether.,” a news release stated.
The webinars will deal with a wide range of topics and the opportunity will be accessible to all nonprofits and small businesses who would like to participate.

Although there is a cost for most of the webinars the February webinar is free by using the code 211Day.
The webinar series kicks off on February 24th 12 pm – 1 pm with the 211 Resource Navigation training presented by 211 Saskatchewan. In lieu of February 11th as 211 Day nationally, every participant will be able to receive this training at no cost, complimentary of 211 SK.
The 211 SK webinar is of interest to frontline workers in the human service sector to assist then in helping their clients access specific supports.
